What you lend, you log

A container that doesn’t come back isn’t noticed the day it leaves. It’s noticed a year later.

  • Today

Nobody knows how many are out

They leave with every delivery and come back whenever. Without a record, you don’t know how many each customer has or since when.

    With Reloda

Every returnable knows where it is: at the plant, on a truck or at a customer’s.

  • Today

The ones that don’t come back go unclaimed

A container sitting at a customer’s for months is money standing still. If nobody sees it, nobody asks for it.

    With Reloda

After 60 days out, an alert goes off; after 180, it counts as probably lost.

  • Today

They come back damaged and keep going out

A dented rack goes back out loaded because nobody checked it when it was unloaded.

    With Reloda

Returning empties get inspected: back in service, to repair or retired.

What it does with each container

QR label

You print the labels on an A4 sheet and each returnable is identified with a phone camera.

Full history

Every movement is logged: when it left, with which order, to which customer and when it came back.

Pickup on delivery

The driver picks up empties at the same stop where they deliver, from their phone.

Returnables list

Every shipment prints a PDF list of the returnables loaded, along with the rest of the paperwork.

Alerts for time out

An alert after 60 days at a customer’s, and a count of probably lost ones from 180 days, in the summary.

Inspection on return

Back in service, to repair or retired. Retiring asks for confirmation, and it never goes out again.

The life cycle of a returnable

It goes out full, comes back empty, gets inspected and goes out again. Every step is logged.

  1. It’s loaded

When the truck is loaded, the returnables going with each order are logged.

  2. It’s delivered

The returnable is now at the customer’s, with the delivery date.

  3. It’s picked up

On a later delivery, the driver picks up the empties and brings them back to the plant.

  4. It’s inspected

At the plant it’s unloaded to its slot or set aside for inspection before it’s used again.

Frequently asked questions

About returnables

Don’t see your question? Ask us directly.

Does it work for cages, containers or crates, not just racks?
Yes. Any container you lend to your customer that has to come back is tracked the same way: with its record, its QR code and its history.
When is a returnable considered lost?
The app alerts you after 60 days at a customer’s and counts it as probably lost from 180 days. You decide what to do with each one.
What about the returnables already at my customers’ sites?
You load them from an Excel file: each returnable with the customer who has it and since when. That way you start from the real picture and alerts count from day one.
